Caroline Kelliher, the owner of Sweet Caroline’s, received her Degree in Culinary Arts in Washington State and at the Italian Culinary Institute in Castello di Costigliole d’Asti,Italy. In addition, she cooked in restaurants locally and in Italy. Caroline’s commitment to excellence in quality shows in that she chooses to serve only Illy coffee, which is from Italy and frequently the coffee of choice among the finest hotels.
Caroline has a passion for travel as well as cuisine, and has had the opportunity to travel around Europe and Asia. These experiences gave her a great appreciation for food, and some of her most enjoyable moments abroad were eating and drinking in small establishments. The aromas of fresh, flavorful ingredients filled the air, and people embraced life and enjoyed each others’ company in these tiny establishments. She tries to recreate this environment in her small European chocolate bar.
